My Desire to Know Christ, P.V.

I was regenerated at the age of 17. It was a beautiful and genuine experience of salvation. For days and days I was full of joy to know that I had received Christ as my Savior.

It was however, nine years later, when I read a gospel tract called “The Mystery of Human Life,” that I discovered that there was much more that the Lord Jesus wanted to reveal to me.

The first big revelation was that man was made in three parts: spirit, soul, and body. To know that I had a human spirit to contain God who is Spirit, made such a big difference in my life. At last I knew the location of Christ in my being. This caused my experience of Christ to rise highly.

I am so thankful to the Lord that through the writings of Brothers Watchman Nee and Witness Lee the Word has been opened to me. The Bible is now so clear to me. Knowing the Bible in this way has drawn me closer and closer to Christ because the Bible is just about Him. The more I know Christ, the more I love Him. Everyday as I enjoy Him, He becomes more real and living to me. He has attracted me so much and it is my desire to pursue Him daily to gain more of Him in His Word.
